The neighbourhood
Main Beach sits between the towers of Surfers Paradise and the open sand of The Spit and Seaworld Drive, and it feels noticeably calmer than its southern neighbour — walkable streets, boutique dining along Tedder Avenue, and a housing mix that leans towards luxury low-and-mid-rise apartments, villas and townhouses rather than the resort-tower skyline further south. There's very little detached housing left in the suburb, so most of our Main Beach jobs are apartment moves with secure building access, though the streets themselves are far easier to work with than the tighter precincts near Cavill Avenue.
The suburb's position between ocean and the Broadwater gives it a dual identity: an easy walk to patrolled surf beach on one side, and calmer waterfront and marina frontage on the other. That combination attracts a mix of long-term downsizers, professionals who want beach access without the Surfers Paradise crowds, and boat owners drawn to the nearby Seaway and marina precincts. Getting around
Main Beach's position gives good access to the Gold Coast Seaway and the marina precincts, so we handle a fair share of moves involving boat gear, jet skis and other water-storage items alongside standard furniture. Tedder Avenue and the surrounding streets can get busy on weekends with the café and restaurant crowd, and access tightens further during major events at nearby Surfers Paradise, so timing matters more here than it looks on paper. The suburb's mostly low-rise streetscape also means fewer of the loading-dock formalities of a Surfers Paradise tower, but body corporate rules and shared driveways in the villa complexes still need to be checked before a truck turns up.

Street parking near the Tedder Avenue precinct is limited, so we scope this out in advance rather than assuming there will be space directly outside.
For the canal-estate jobs around Isle of Capri and Santa Barbara, narrow bridge crossings and waterfront driveways mean we plan the truck route and size carefully ahead of time, and for jobs involving boats or trailers we make sure there's a plan for where that equipment goes before the truck even arrives.
